June 2013 – BSC awarded contract for advice and pressure calculations relating to the flue runs for the replacement boilers at the PEH, Guernsey.

May 2013 – Chimney arrives on site at the Syama gold mine Mali.
March 2013 – Henderson Green contact BSC with regard to a project at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, Guernsey. Contract awarded by HSSD States of Guernsey for the inspection of all Guernsey hospital chimneys.
March 2013 – Chimney for Mali shipped from the UK.
December 2012 – First container of erection equipment shipped to Mali.
October 2012 – BSC awarded a contract by Western Air Ducts for advice and design calculations for a small chimney at the Magnox nuclear site Berkley, Gloucestershire.
September 2012 – BSC buys back the shares held by BTS and agrees to buy a 20% share in BTS.
September 2012 – Michael returns to Mali and supervises others in demolishing the chimney down to the 60m level and the installation of a 10m new section which had been manufactured locally. This to allow the plant to keep running until the replacement chimney could be erected.
August 2013 – BSC awarded contract to supply original drawings and advise James Engineering with regard to the extension of 4no chimneys at the top of Guys Hospital, London. 2no of the chimneys had been originally designed, manufactured and erected by FEB.
July 2012 – BSC awards contracts with regard to the Mali project to John Turner (Consulting) Ltd for the design to the CICIND steel chimney code and James Engineering for manufacture. Michael is fully involved in overseeing all aspects of the work as there are limitations to site lifting capabilities as only a 300T telescopic crane is available.
July 2012 – Whilst in Mali contract agreed in principal for the design, manufacture and supervision of erection for a 76m high self-supporting replacement chimney capable of extension to 100m if guys are fitted.
July 2012 – Michael attends site in Mali to inspect the chimney and finds that the top 22m had collapsed on February 14th. Client had not informed him as they were worried that he would not attend site; that it was a UN declared war zone was apparently irrelevant.
July 2012 – Société des Mines de Syama (SOMISY) SA, Mali, West Africa award contract for the inspection of a 100m guyed chimney serving an ore roaster. Contract award had been delayed due to a coup in the March.
May 2012 – BSC awarded a contract by Horizon SC to advise them on the replacement of 2no old F E Beaumont vertical flues at the University of Bath.
May 2012 – BSC provides copies of an old F E Beaumont chimney in order that they might demolish it in a safe and competent manner.
March 2012 – BSC reach an agreement with First Power Lightning and Surge Protection to act as their agent in the Channel Islands.
January 2012- Beaumont Specialist Contracting is formed by Michael Beaumont with 20% of the shares held by Beaumont Technical Services.
